Thank you very much for visiting our company store. We are very excited to introduce our flagship product, Body Engine Oil, as well as our Natural Soap Bars and other fine accessories, and offer them to you. We strive to make healthy and useful products that are good for our customers.
Green Spade Oil Co. is run by the husband and wife team of Wendell and Luisa Morris. It is a combined effort. They've been working on developing the oil for market for more than two years, as well as they have been using it. It has truly helped their skin and hair, from the inside as well as outside, and they hope you will find Body Engine Oil to be as beneficial for you as it has been for them.
Wendell and Luisa have found that the use of natural, organic oils on the skin and hair -- in Body Engine Oil as well as in our Natural Bar Soaps -- has greatly improved the softness and comfort of their skin and hair. Give simple, real ingredients a try on your body, and you will never go back to the stuff with all the chemicals in it.
If you are willing to go the extra distance and supplement with Body Engine Oil, you may discover a whole new idea of what soft, conditioned skin and hair is. It's meant to work from the inside, from beneath the skin, to help soften and strengthen skin and hair. We call it The Inner Conditioner, because that's how it has worked for us.
If you look closely at our logo, you'll see our motto below the Green Spade: Inner Health, Outer Wealth. That's what we believe -- that you can't be truly healthy on the outside until you're healthy on the inside. As a company, it's our goal to help make this happen for you, as it has happened for us.
Prior to starting Green Spade Oil Co. Wendell and Luisa have been running a yoga equipment company called YogaRat, which is still alive at www.YogaRat.com, until their current inventory depletes (go there now before it's all gone). Several years ago Wendell and Luisa recognized that they wanted to start a new business focused on products they could manufacture in the United States and that would be as eco conscious as possible. The result is Green Spade Oil Co.
Before becoming an entrepreneur and traveling the world making yoga equipment, and now oil blends in the United States, Wendell was a writer in the town called Hollywood. Way back in the 1990's maybe you watched a TV show called "Pinky & The Brain". Wendell was one of the writers on that show and others, and even won a couple of Emmys back in the day. However, he decided he wanted to try another life path and start a business. It certainly has been a journey with some unexpected twists, but the best twist was when he met his wife, Luisa.
Before meeting her future husband, Luisa was a high school Mandarin literature teacher in Taiwan. But fate had other ideas for her and Wendell, and on his first trip to Taiwan to visit potential manufacturers back in 2008, he also met his wife. They've been together ever since, and she came to her new home in the United States to be with him and work with him. He will be forever grateful.
One of our goals is to develop our store into a place to sell not just Green Spade branded products, but other great, healthy products by businesses that believe in doing their best to make the best for your body and the Earth. If we reach out to you, we hope you're willing to give us a shot.
